leather on brass handrail

Brass handrails fitted at the UCL Dept of Law project, covered in dark brown leather. At Hide and Stitch we can apply leather to a wide variety of styles of staircase. We are happy to supply leather samples and offer advice on how to achieve the best finish. We have completed projects all across the country, including architecturally designed handrails that run continuously over several floors, to more traditional style rails, over just a few metres. We can also supply a wide selection of leather samples: From full aniline and pigmented corrected grains, to elaborate embossed designs from a variety of different leather suppliers: Edelman, Ed Tanner, Spinneybeck, Whistler, Crest Leather and Andrew Muirhead. We can apply leather to both timber and metal rails for private residences and commercial or retail premises. Handrails can be curved, elliptical, spiral or straight runs, with rails sitting on glass balustrades, spindles, or wall mounted brackets.
